VDL Containersystemen

Ship to Shore Spreaders
The VDL CH6550 series are quayside crane spreaders designed to handle 20-40ft / 20-40-45ft ISO containers. The double girder design is structurally well proven and fully dedicated to ship to shore applications. The robust and reliable telescoping system consists of 3-point mounted hydraulic cylinders, impact protected with spring washer packages and hydraulic relief valves. The Twistlock - beams are equipped with the quick exchange floating Twistlocks system. The standard spreaders are hydraulically powered by the twin motor/pump power pack, mounted on heavy duty shock absorbers .
Mobile Harbour Crane Spreaders
The VDL CH6650 series are crane spreaders designed to handle 20-40ft / 20-40-45ft ISO containers in JIB / Mobile Harbour Crane application. The double girder design is structurally well proven and made out of high quality steel in order to reduce weight. The spreaders are standard equipped with 6 high torque single cylinder actuated side flippers and available with several options.
Yard Crane Spreaders
The VDL CH6450 series are yard crane spreaders designed to handle 20-40ft / 20-40-45ft ISO containers. The double girder design is structurally based on the VDL ship to shore spreaders. The proven telescoping system consists of 3-point mounted hydraulic cylinders, impact protected with spring washer packages and hydraulic relief valves. The Twistlock-beams are equipped with the quick exchange floating Twistlocks system. The standard spreaders are hydraulically powered by the twin motor/pump power pack, mounted on heavy duty shock absorbers.
Piggy Back Spreaders
The VDL CTH7200 is an intermodal yard crane spreader designed to handle 20-40ft ISO containers as well as trailers and swap bodies. The monobeam design is structurally based on the heavy duty VDL reach-stacker spreaders but upgraded to yard crane applications. The spreader is equipped with four hydraulic rotating piggyback arms which are retractable inside the spreader dimensions allowing block stacking of containers. This spreader is standard equipped with rubber shock absorbers in the longitudinal direction. Hydraulic damping in longitudinal direction of 12° is also available.
